Yes, Aurora, indeed, this is a nice way to learn, with Andrea`s tender voice in the background... I hope some day I will be able to take some Italian lessons... At present, I can`t, due to long working hours... But I certainly will try, whenever I will be able to... Have a nice week, too:) :) :) I dream of visiting Italy again... The last time was eleven years ago, to Florence and Tuscany... Magic, but I would like to see more... Perhaps, one day, the dream may be realized...

That`s what I do almost every evening (and day, when I am at home)... listening to Andrea, watching his videos, his interviews, reading this guest book, which I have started from the beginning... I have finished reading the comments of 2007,and now I have reached March 2008...I have learned many things about him, and about the emotions he has given to all of you...I almost cried, reading the last letter he wrote to his wife, although I must say I don`t speak Italian... But I understand most of it, due to the fact that I have studied French for many years, and these two languages, have so much in common... I have still a long way to catch up, but I don`t mind... It`s a way for me to learn about him, as much as I can... <3<3<3

Hi Stavroula, I found in Google a You Tube video of Pandela (not the one with Marino De Rosas) with the Sardinian flag published on Febr. 4, 2015 and there, when you see "Mostra altro", you click over and will get the Sardinian and after the Italian version. I hope you manage... Good night!

Thank you Patrizio for your kind words.. . I have listened to all the songs, and I must say, that as I watched the videos in YouTube, I always found that the voice of Andrea, appears in all its beauty, more with an acoustic arrangement, such as that of a guitar, or a violin... than an electric one... with electric guitars and drums... Maybe it`s my age... I don`t listen as much to rock music anymore, as I did in my adolescent and youth years... I always love rock music, but since many years I have discovered the beauty of folk, classical, new age, such genres... I have managed to learn `Stabat Mater` by heart, and I am very happy for this... At least I learned the excerpt that Andrea has sung(Nadelu, Segnora mia, Sezzis cussa la Stimada, chi giaman Maria...) Maria Carta has sung it with different lyrics, but thanks to Andrea himself, who explained the song, in one of the videos (`Andrea Parodi Fantastica`, I think it`s called), I found the lyrics in Google, both in Italian and Sardinian languages... But I have not managed the same for `Pandela`, which is one of my favourites... Someone in YouTube, in the comments of the video, with Marino Dr Rosas, (magnificent guitarist, too), had the kindness to post the Italian translation only... So, if someone can post the original lyrics that Andrea sings, I would be grateful... Thanks to all of you...

Not at all, Aurora, the pleasure is mine... Although, I discovered Andrea only a year ago, as I was searching for Maria Carta in YouTube, and I saw them both, singing `No potho reposare`... I think it was in Ichnos, Sedilo, 1993...I thought to myself... What a magnificent voice, and presence... Only to find that he was gone, from the same disease as my father`s... My father was gone in 1975,when in Greece at least, chemiotherapies weren`t applied yet... But Andrea`s life, his courage, his radiant smile, his magnificent voice, his love for his wife and children... have amazed me, and I became his fan, too.. If I ever visit Sardinia, I would try to see that museum, dedicated to him, or buy something concerning him, a book, a cd, at least.. I bought his last two albums, `Abacada` and `Rosa resolza` through ITunes...

These were the last words of Andrea,towards his audience, in his last concert in Amfiteatro Romano di Cagliari, that evening of 22 September 2006,only 25 days before he passed away...
Thanks to Mrs. L. Bortolotti, who posted a link, in Andrea Parodi fans club Facebook page, a link of a program dedicated to Andrea, in Videolina, people like me, who couldn`t watch it in local TV, could see it afterwards, and watch videos I hadn`t watch before, listen to Andrea, and feel his beautiful presence again...

non vedo l`ora di essere nella tua terra, fra poco più di un mese se tutto va bene risentirò i profumi e rivedrò le care immagini, col sottofondo della tua voce che nella mia mente è sempre presente
